20BooksVegas Ya’ll!

In another 24 hours, I will be attending one of the most anticipated author events of the year.

That’s right, I am attending 20BooksVegas!

Las Vegas has never really been on my list of places to visit, because in my opinion, it’s a place really made to be enjoyed with large groups (which I am not a fan of, even before the pandemic). Though a good friend encouraged me to apply for the partial scholarship (more about that will be talked about on my YouTube channel), so I did.

Once I managed to receive that generous scholarship, I booked my flight and now I have the privilege to travel with them to Vegas!

Bring on the bright lights!

Cause I’ll need them to sprint and see during the week long conference event, lol

There are so many classes that I’m looking forward to, the only part that stinks about that is that many of them are happening at the exact same time. Especially on Wednesday! But that’s okay, in between working (because that’s still a thing that I need to do while away), sprinting, and mingling (a little, lol) with other authors, I plan on watching the recordings of the classes that I couldn’t attend live at night.

Which works out just fine, because my budget is virtually non existent anyway for this trip.

I’m always broke, so I’m used to that and it’s never stopped me from learning or having a good time.

Besides, with all the knowledge that I plan on getting from this event, I just know that next year when I can go again that I’ll have a few more commas (instead of zeroes, lol) in my bank account. Really hoping to be able to offer a partial scholarship as well, as I know firsthand how beneficial receiving one as been this year.

So, in short, as Alanis Morrissette crooned in ‘Hand in my Pocket’ – I’m broke but I’m happy.

Can’t wait to tell you all about the experience soon!
