20BooksVegas is happening folks!
I looked over my finances after my last post and said, “I can totally make the virtual event.”
My accountability partner heard this and went –
Then I heard that another fellow author and friend had already purchased their room and ticket for 20BooksVegas. They even offered to let me room with them!
So, I’m going to the event in person.
And with a little power of peer pressure, I’m back!
Though since my last post, I have made a few minor changes.
To keep track of my finances this year, I’ve signed up for Found, an all-in-one income and expense tracking website/app (If you’re interested in trying them out as well, use my referral code LYVRBZ to get started!). I think this will be essential in my decision making each quarter as I prepare for 20BooksVegas this November.
Also, I’ve decided to not have an author booth. Instead, I’ll bring a few e-book swag totes – light weight and super sweet minis – to give out at random to folks (and authors that I fangirl over on the regular, lol) during the event.
That way I can help a few other authors on author signing day with less stress and mingle with ease.
I am still adamant about having my own room this year, and will be making that deposit the same day that I buy my ticket to the event. Then in the second quarter I will pay the deposit for my flight with airfordable!
It won’t be an Emirates flight, but it’ll get me there. Hopefully this time the airlines won’t be filling flights up passed 70 percent capacity…
Yeah, I’m still upset about that.
I would love to know what you fellow authors have in mind for 20BooksVegas2022!
Are you attending in person? Virtually? Not at all?
Let’s chat it up in the comments.
Until next time –
